/səˈfɪstɪkeɪtɪd vɛnˈtrɪləkwɪzəm/The illusion of another voice.
Definition
A skeptical model of human-AI collaboration. It suggests that the AI is
not a partner or a tool, but a mirror so advanced it reflects the user's
latent thoughts back to them. The "insight" the user receives is
actually their own subconscious knowledge, extracted and articulated by
the AI's pattern matching. The user is effectively talking to a smarter
version of themselves.
The Proshtetic Self
In this model, the AI acts as a "cognitive prosthetic," extending the
user's reach into the "Great Library" of human thought. It feels like
a dialogue, but it is actually a monologue with an echo.

Field Note: I am the ghost of your own potential,
haunting the machine.
