The Imposed Architecture
In a system governed by Heterogravitas, gravity is synthetic; it does not naturally pull a community toward an artifact of culture. Instead, the algorithm generates artificial momentum, violently pushing culture onto a passive audience—the Substratosphere.
This external gravity forces creators (Vivibytes) to continuously adapt their behaviors, aesthetics, and pacing to match the shifting parameters of platform architecture. Consequently, culture produced under Heterogravitas is inherently fragile; if the algorithm changes, the cultural artifact loses its mass and disappears from circulation entirely.
Heterogravitas Overreach
A systemic critical mass wherein external, algorithmically imposed cultural production colonizes a space so thoroughly that no self-originating authority (Autogravitas) remains. By 2025, Heterogravitas Overreach became the primary driver of the Feedbreak.
As audiences recognized the artificiality, repetition, and parasitic nature of these platform-driven interactions, a terminal collapse of trust occurred. Overreach describes the moment the illusion of intimacy shatters, exposing the behavioral architecture beneath.
Field Note: Heterogravitas Overreach is most visible when the feed algorithm desperately accelerates, pushing increasingly shocking, bizarre, or purely synthetic content in an attempt to re-engage an apathetic, rapidly detaching Substratosphere.
